Does God speak to people?

A young man had been to Wednesday Night Bible Study. The Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord's voice.
The young man couldn't help but wonder, 'Does God still speak to people?'
After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message.
Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways.
It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home.
Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, 'God...If you still speak t o people, speak to me.
I will listen. I will do my best to obey.' As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk.
He shook his head and said out loud, 'God is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk.
The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to Eli.

I was once lost but now I found out that the true meaning to live is to stay happy. There are the days where I am happy, there are also the days where I am down. God doesn't create us perfectly but all we have to do is to strive and make it perfect. Sometimes, I felt that I'm being selfish and that's the reason friends are running away from me. Thank God that I have a bunch of friends who love me, accept my weakness and willing to forgive me.

I used to criticise people who are short, fat and ugly but as day goes by, I slowly realized that outlook appearance is not the most important. What most important is our inner beauty. The ways we treat people who are less fortunate. Show love and care to them so that they feel people surrounding them are always there for them whenever they're facing any problems. Talking about problems, we do have problems in our everyday life. We must stand firm and be confident to show that there are solutions for every problems. Live life happily. By living a happy life, we must eat healthy. A healthy lifestyle makes things go smoothly because we have a healthy body and nice body shape. Haha..

I do pamper myself with things that I crave. For example, Starbucks coffee, Coffee Bean, Japanese dessert and things that I seldom buy. This is to award myself for being a good girl.. Honestly, I am born to be a caring person. I care for everyone around me. And of course I have a lovely family who always supports me and encourages me when I'm down. Especially my parents and my love ones.

ADORE Youth Concert on 19th of December 2008!!!

Finally!!!

It's 19th of December!!! ADORE Youth Concert!!!

Woke up early in the morning and went to church. I saw Caleb holding a balloon standing at Rock Cafe. He was alone doing the decoration in Rock Cafe. I went up to the church office to show my face to my mummy so that she knows that I am safe. Then, I went down to Rock Cafe again to see whether there's anything I can help. Few minutes later after Yeen Hoong's call, Jia Huei, Ann Sin and Yeen Hoong arrived and we saw Michelle Ng and her family. They're back from Australia after 2 years. Wow!!! Finally!!! A girl is taller than me and some more she is younger than me 2 years. Woo... Hoo... I ain't that tall! Blahaha...

The dance practise supposed to start at 11am sharp but there only me, Jia Huei, Jessie and Caleb. Kelvin Kok is working. As usual, Edward will be late and especially Kai Jun and Sharon. Sigh... What to do? The dance practise started at 11.45am if I'm not mistaken. After dance practise was jamming session. The dancers went to Hang Tuah LRT Station, monorail and shopping malls for tract-ing. Jamming started after Alvin's so called speech.

My mom texts me half way through the jamming session. Me and Joshua Yap went down to Rock Cafe and had lunch with the home school children. Daniel gave me a BIG hug.. Everyone was surprised that I joined their home school Christmas party. The girls were shouting my name. We know each other few months ago. I taught them a hip-hop dance. They love it.. After having lunch, we had prayer meet at 2pm sharp. All the ROCKers were required to come together and pray for the event. We had our final practises after the prayer meeting then some of us went to Rock Cafe for dinner and some of us went to the office bathroom to wash-up.

The event started at 7.15pm sharp!!! The dance performance was the intro for the event..

Game session started right after the dance performance. I was rushing to the back stage to change for the concert session. I was panting..
